At the planning stage, we suggested adding a fun element to the package that allows the vintage train ticket to be torn off and kept as a collectible. This idea aligned well with the overall concept and design direction, and it was positively received as a distinctive feature.

JoChiWon Castella Branding


A local branding project connecting JoChiWon’s identity with a dessert brand. Inspired by JoChiWon Station’s history and the story of castella brought by the Joseon Tongsinsa, the design links the region’s past and present. I joined from the early planning stage, contributed to shaping the design direction, and led the visual system and package design.


Design Note
The story began with the symbolic JoChiWon Station and was translated into a visual language. A consistent tone and manner throughout the project effectively communicated the brand identity.

Outcome

This project was selected as part of the initiative to brand local specialties from Jochiwon.
After a pilot launch, it was sold in local cafes and markets, receiving positive feedback.
